14. Helga Pedersen Moot Court Yarışması’nın 6-8 Mart 2026 tarihleri arasında Atina’da gerçekleşen Bölgesel Aşaması’nda (Regional Round) Hukuk Fakültesi öğrencileri Ezo Ferda TOPAL, Ayça ALTUNIŞIK, Serra AYDIN ve Hüseyin Tuna GÖKDUMAN’dan oluşan takımımız üniversitemizi başarıyla temsil etmiştir. 

Avrupa’nın çeşitli üniversitelerinden gelen birçok takımın yarıştığı, Avrupa İnsan Hakları Mahkemesi’ne bireysel başvurunun simülasyonu olan yarışmada takımımız iki farklı ülkeyle eşleşerek Başvuran ve Hükümet tarafı olarak sözlü savunmalarda bulunmuşlardır. 

Geleceğin hukukçuları olarak gösterdikleri azim için öğrencilerimizi tebrik ediyor, takımın oluşturulmasında ve hazırlık çalışmalarında yer alan takım koçumuz Arş. Gör. Cemre Belçim GÖLBAŞI UÇAR’a ve ekibe eşlik ederek akademik katkılarını sunan değerli hocamız Dr. Öğr. Üye. Derya DOĞRU’ya teşekkür ediyoruz.

Our team, consisting of Law School students Ezo Ferda TOPAL, Ayça ALTUNIŞIK, Serra AYDIN, and Hüseyin Tuna GÖKDUMAN, successfully represented our university at the Regional Round of the 14th Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition, held in Athens between March 6–8, 2026.

In this competition, which simulates individual applications to the European Court of Human Rights and features teams from various universities across Europe, our team faced two different countries. They delivered oral pleadings for both the Applicant and the Government sides with great skill.

We congratulate our students for the dedication and perseverance they showed as future legal professionals. We also extend our sincere thanks to our team coach, Research Assistant Cemre Belçim GÖLBAŞI UÇAR, for her leadership in forming and preparing the team, and to our esteemed professor, Asst. Prof. Derya DOĞRU, for accompanying the team and providing her invaluable academic contributions.
